Limited warranty and liability disclaimer

VEHEMENCE BODYBOARDS

VEHEMENCE warrants to the original purchaser that the product will be free from defects on materials and workmanship for a period of 60 days from the date of purchase.

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • General “wear & tear” damage through obvious misuse including bubbling of the deck or slick of the boards
  • Water-logging damage from a leash, fins or other accessories
  • Creasing on either the deck or slick of the board
  • Any depressions from the rider or other objects

All VEHEMENCE products are used at your own risk and should not be relied upon as a lifesaving device. It must not be used as a substitute for good swimming ability, ocean knowledge or proper precautions. The manufacturer, distributor and seller expressly disclaim any liability for injury, death, property damage or other loss or damage suffered by any person as a consequence of the use of any of the VEHEMENCE products. ​

The purchaser by purchasing VEHEMENCE products assumes all liability arising from its use. VEHEMENCE does not endorse promote, encourage or represent the use of VEHEMENCE products for surfing or any dangerous use of VEHEMENCE products. The ocean can be a dangerous place. With all the currents, waves, hidden objects and of course, people, you need to be careful. Here are a few other pointers to keep you safe:

  • The activity of surfing and bodyboarding is inherently dangerous like many water sports and activities.
  • The activity of surfing and bodyboarding requires skills and the exercise of caution at all times. Stunts and extreme performances on bodyboards or surfboards are performed by experienced and competent individuals and are done with a great deal of personal risk.
  • For best protection use professional VEHEMENCE products as our bodyboard leashes and purpose designed swimfins.
  • Always surf with a friend to share the stoke and look out for one another.
  • Check surf spots for potential hazards before paddling out.
  • Don’t drop in, get in the way or interfere with other wave riders.
  • Making use of safety gear, taking lessons, go surfing responsibly within your skill level and abilities, as well as using common sense, can all reduce the risk of serious injuries or death.
  • Know how to swim before start surfing.
